1. Poshmark "Share Jail"
Sharing your closet is key to sales, but Poshmark has a hidden limit.
The Limit: Do not exceed 4,000 shares in a 24-hour period. If you do, you enter "Share Jail" (Shadowban) where your shares perform zero actions for 24 hours.
2. Whatnot Giveaway Math
Giveaways grow your stream, but "Follower Giveaways" mostly attract "Givvy Goblins" (people who just want free stuff).
- Better Strategy: Run "Buyer Appreciation" giveaways. This rewards people who actually spend money with you, increasing your ROI.
- Loss Leader: Treat the giveaway cost as marketing. If a $10 item keeps 50 people watching for 20 minutes, it's worth it.
3. Cross-Listing Software
Don't rely on one platform. Use software to list on eBay, Posh, and Mercari simultaneously.
- Vendoo: Best for automation and tracking profit.
- List Perfectly: Best for unlimited listings and manual control.
- Flyp: A free option for beginners, but fewer features.
