💡 DIM Weight Tips
Use the smallest box possible. DIM weight is calculated from box size, not item size. A lightweight item in a big box costs more to ship.
Poly mailers save money. For soft goods like clothing, poly mailers avoid DIM weight entirely since they conform to the item.
Round up dimensions. Carriers round up to the next inch, so a 10.1" box is billed as 11".
